RAJOURI, Sept 26: Former minister Shabir Ahmed Khan and several other senior leaders of different political and social organizations have criticized the State Government for its failure to declare holiday on the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh.
In a statement several senior leaders termed it as most unfortunate on the part of Coalition Government to respect the sentiments of large population of the State who were demanding holiday on the birth day of Maharaja Hari Singh. They lashed out at this approach of the two coalition partners which have no common approach on any issue particularly on this demand.
Other dignatories of the statement included Th Kamal Singh, Karamat Malik, Zahid Malik, Hamuyn Khan, Tariq Manhas, Rajesh Gupta, Qayoum Mirza, Iftikhar Mirza, Joginder Singh Chib, Khadim Chib, Saleem Mughal, Gulshaid Khan, S Rajinder Singh, Vaishno Dass Sharma, Manzoor Charak etc.
