POONCH, Sept 21: District Administration, Poonch today suspended ten employees of different departments for unauthorised absence from duty and initiated inquiry against four field functionaries who left the station without making entry in the movement register.
On the directions of Deputy commissioner Poonch Tariq Ahmad Zargar, a team of officials, led by Additional District Development Commissioner, Abdul Hamied, condcuted surprise inspection of various Government offices in tehsil Mandi.
During the inspection ten employees were found absent and were immediately placed under suspension. They are Rajpal, Nazir and orderlies Sultan Mohammad Mukhtar Ahamad, Maqbool Hussain, tehsil office Mandi.
Ali Akbar, Helper, PWD Mandi, Abdul Ahad, Jr. Assistant PDD Mandi, Manoh Kumar, technicians III PDD Mandi, Asgar Ali, Super pharmacist, Syeda Khanam, MPW, and Riyasat Ali, Lab Technician all posted at PHC Loran.
Meanwhile, the officer officials who were not found present in their offices and had left the station without making entry in the movement register were directed to explain their position through their respective controlling officer, failing which warranted action under rules would be initiated against them. The erring officials are Rajiv Sharma, AEE, PDD Mandi, Harvinder Singh, AE, PWD Mandi, Doctor Arshad Ahmad, PHC, Loran and Mohammad Ashfaq, Jr. Assistant, Tehsil Social Welfare Office Mandi.
Taking strict notice of absenteeism, Deputy Commissioner, Tariq Ahamad Zargar, has directed all the district officers to strictly adhere to the office timings so that people do not face hardships.
