JAMMU, Sept 8: A workshop was organized today for employees of Salal Power Station for effective implementation of ‘Rajbhasha’ in day-to-day’s office routine works.
The workshop was inaugurated by Himanshu Shekhar, General Manager, Salal Power Station by lighting the traditional lamp. Twenty-nine employees participated in the workshop.
Speaking on the occasion, Shekhar appealed the participants to maximize their routine office works in Hindi, not only during observance of ‘Hindi Pakhwara’ but otherwise also for promotion and effective implementation of official language.
During the workshop, the participants were taught about the use of official language on computers and tips were given to correspond in Hindi by faculty Shivani Bisht, Manager (HR), Dr PL Sharma, Manager (Lib) and Kuldeep Kumar Sharma (Hindi Officer).
