JAMMU, Sept 7: A man was today found dead under mysterious circumstances in Gangyal area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, some passersby today spotted a dead body lying along a road at Gangyal and informed the police. He said that a police team immediately reached the spot and shifted the dead body to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where after conducting postmortem, it was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites.
He said that the deceased was identified as Kuldeep alias Kaka (35) son of Gyan, resident of Chatha. “In this connection, Gangyal police had initiated inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC”, he added.
