JAMMU, Sept 6: High Court has stayed the order whereby Dazy Parihar, a Dental Surgeon has been given look after charge of the post of Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Kishtwar and Drawing and Disbursing powers.
“It is not understandable as to why a Dental Surgeon with just seven years of standing at her back was first transferred and posted as Incharge District Immunization Officer, which as per the rules is to be manned by a Medical Officer. Likewise, it is not understandable as to why she was given charge of the Block Medical Officer and recently has been given charge of Dy Chief Medical Officer with Drawing and Disbursing powers and is also allowed to perform the functions of the Chief Medical Officer”, Justice Janak Raj Kotwal said.
The High Court directed State to submit a detailed report explaining the reasons for not filling up the post of Dy. Chief Medical Officer and Chief Medical Officer, Kishtwar, as also for posting Dazy Parihar against the post of District Immunization Officer and giving her the charge of Drawing and Disbursing powers of the Dy. Chief Medical Officer.
