SAMBA, Sept 5: The team of Electric Sub Division Bari Brahmana carried out inspection in Ambedkar Nagar, Telli Basti and imposed Rs 30,000 on the power defaulters.
During this drive, around 5 illegal connections were disconnected and load of 15 kw has been regularized. A fine of Rs 30,000 has been imposed on violators.
This drive was conducted on the directions of higher authorities of PDD and DDC Samba Sheetal Nanda. The aim of this drive is to minimize T&D and AT&C losses which are huge at present.
The consumers were requested to use power judiciously and use power saver techniques like LEDs, CFLs, etc.
The drive was carried out by the team comprising of AEE Sham Lal, JE Ravi, Gopal Dass, Kamaljeet, Subash, Kuldeep Raj and Bittu.
