JAMMU, Sept 4: An Army officer today died of suspected cardiac arrest at Military Hospital in Satwari area of city outskirts.
“Lt Colonel Saibal Subash Dutta,38, son of Subash Chander Dutta, resident of Madhukosh, Nagpur, Maharastra, posted at Chatha, fell unconscious during day to day activity,” a police official here said.
He said that the officer was rushed to the Military Hospital, Satwari but he died. “Prima facie, it appears to be a case of suspected cardiac arrest but Satwari police have initiated inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC”, he added.
