KATHUA, Nov 1: District Development Commissioner, Kathua Zahida Khan, who is also the Chairperson Indian Red Cross Society Kathua, informed that the two days Red Cross Mela will be organized on 3rd and 4th of November at Sports Stadium.
While addressing a press conference, the DDC said that the main aim of the Mela is to generate awareness about the various activities of the Red Cross Society and maximize public participation for strengthening the society.
She said that the main attraction of the Red Cross Mela will be the cultural show, food stalls, Baby show, magic show, tug of war besides the stalls of various Governments Departments to aware the people about various State and Centrally sponsored schemes.
Dogri Play Ghumaee directed by Balwant Thakur will remain the prime attraction of the Mela which will be staged on 4th of November at 7pm she, added.
