MENDHAR, July 25: Three persons were injured in a road accident at Mankote in district Poonch today.
A police spokesman said that the mishap took place when two youth, riding on a bike hit a villager moving along the road at Mankote this afternoon. The bike was speeding and both the riders were thrown away after hitting the villager-Rajinder Kumar, resident of Mankote.
The bikers were on way to Balnoi village from Mendhar town. All the three with multiple injuries and fractures were shifted to Sub District Hospital, Mendhar. They were identified as Hazoor Hussain Shah and Zahoor Abbas, both residents of Balnoi and Rajinder Kumar of Mankote. The police had taken cognizance of the matter.
