KATHUA, July 25: The sleuths of Excise Department have destroyed 550 kgs lahan & 210 pouches of illicit liquor which is highly hazardous and injurious to health during their raid in the Padyari, Mahichak, Sumwan,Chibbachak & Budhi areas of Kathua district today to arrest the menace of illicit distillation of liquor.
The raid was conducted on the directions of the Excise Commissioner, Mohd. Javed Khan and supervision of Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive), Jammu Syed Muried Hussain Shah, the Excise Team Kathua led by ETO Excise Range Kathua, Sandeep Gupta, Inspectors Excise, Arun Kumar & Shadi Lal along with other Excise staff.
