JAMMU, Oct 26: A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) led by its State general secretary, Ganesh Khajuria, met Director School Education (DSE) and apprised him about various issues of the teaching fraternity.
During the meeting, the delegation highlighted many demands including posting of all the Masters in their parent district, release of promotion list of Headmasters from Masters, adjustment of newly promoted Masters, promotion of Plus 2 Lecturers from in-service Teachers and Masters, release of half yearly salary grants, provision of special grants for the 2nd installment of Sixth Pay Commission arrears, release of honorarium of ReTs and EVs well in time, release of mid day meal grants and issuance of confirmation orders for all cadres of Education Department.
Director gave a patient hearing to the demands and assured for the early redressal.
Among others present were Rajinder Gupta, Gopal Singh, Satish Dutta, Kuldeep Singh, Surjeet Singh, Gurjeet Singh, Raj Singh, Darshan Sharma, Amar Nath Thakur, etc.
