JAMMU, Oct 21: Rotary International in association with Rotary Club Jammu City organized a meet on Polio Orientation and Planning today in the Institution of Engineers, Channi Himmat, Jammu.
Key note speakers from Rotary District took part in the proceedings to emphasize the need for the complete eradication of polio from the face of the earth.
The Chief Guest on the occasion Dr. Madhu Khullar, Director Health Services, Jammu stressed on the need to keep a strict vigil on any recurrence of a polio case as India has now been declared a polio free country.
While District Governor Upkar Singh Sethi spoke at length about the achievements and contribution of Rotary International. Other eminent speakers included Suresh Chaudhary, Raje Sangram Singh Bhonsle, Shubh Karan Gupta, Gurjeet S Sekhon, Archana Bahl and Dr. V.K. Gupta,
