IRP personnel render exemplary services during by-poll parliamentary elections: DIG

JAMMU, Apr 24: Indian Reserve Police (IRP) personnel rendered exemplary services by the dint of their dedication and valour while performing their duties during by-poll parliamentary elections.
This was stated by Vijay Kumar, DIG IRP Range Jammu while interacting with officers and jawans of IRP-14th Battalion stationed at APC Complex Channi Himmat, Jammu.
DIG added that IRP personnel delivered commendable services while performing law and order duties in different districts of Jammu and Kashmir Zones during the year 2016-2017.
He asked the jawans and officers to maintain highest standard of fitness and mental strength while dealing with law and order situations. “Tolerance, patience and discipline are imperative requirements of any belt force and for attaining the same emphasis should be laid in sports discipline, training etc”, he said and asked the officers to provide an exemplary leadership to the jawans to keep it well-greased machinery and ready 24×7.
Prabh Dayal, SP, Commandant IRP-14th Battalion and Yogesh Sharma, SP, Deputy CO IRP-14th Battalion also spoke on the occasion.
GOs of IRP-14th Battalion were also present on the occasion.
The officers and jawans of the battalion put forth their grievances before the DIG who assured the jawans that their grievances will be resolved within shortest possible time. DIG also paid visit to store, kot, mess, MT fleet and surroundings of the Battalion.
