SAMBA, Apr 17: In order to curb the menace of illicit distillation of liquor the sleuths of Excise Department of Excise Range Samba under the directions of Excise Commissioner Mohd Javed Khan and the Deputy Excise Commissioner Executive ,Jammu Ganisham Singh conducted raids at various places.
The raids were conducted in Radwan, Ramgarh and Nandpur villages of Samba Range. The team was led by Excise Inspector Sushil Bhat and staff of the Excise Range Samba under the supervision of ETO Samba Range. During the raids 30 kgs of lahan was found hidden in State land and was destroyed on spot.
