JAMMU, Mar 23: Punjab National Bank (PNB) with its initiative to reach out to the rural areas of the State opened its branch at Khour, the border town of the Jammu district. With this, the number of Punjab National Bank (PNB) branches in J&K has gone upto 105.
The inaugural function was presided over by Bikram Singh Raina, Deputy General Manager, Circle Head (J&K) of PNB and the chief guest on the occasion was Sub Divisional Magistrate(SDM), Khour, Devinder Pal Bhagat.
Speaking at the inaugural function, J&K Circle Head of PNB, B S Raina welcomed the guests and assured the local population of the best banking services.
Sub Divisional Magistrate, Khour, Devinder Pal Bhagat also appreciated the role of bank in the field of social responsibility besides banking services. He urged the gathering to make best use of the banking services being offered by PNB.
Subash Chander, Chief Manager, PNB, explained the salient features of the various products and services of the bank adding that the branch will also provide credit facilities to the people engaged in agricultural and allied activities as per their requirements.
Deepak Kumar, the Branch head, extended the vote of thanks and assured good customer services.
