Disclose names of 2 BJP ministers, sack them: NPP

JAMMU, Nov 23: State president of  National Panthers Party  (NPP) and former MLA from Udhampur, Balwant Singh Mankotia today demanded that Government must disclose the names of two corrupt and dishonest BJP ministers involved in the scandals and remove them from the Cabinet, taking mandatory action against them.
Addressing a press conference at party headquarters here today,  Mr Mankotia  came down heavily on the State Government for concealing the names of the  BJP ministers involved in corruption as reported by a section of media today.
Mr Mankotia disclosed that BJP after coming to power both at the Centre and in the State vowed to fight and weed out corruption but all their tall promises have  turned into rhetoric and fallen flat with the media reports pertaining to the BJP ministers in J&K Government  involved in the shocking incidents of corruption going viral. He said that the entire Jammu was rocked when the demonetized cash running into crores of rupees allegedly belonging to a BJP minister was noticed by the police was exposed by the section of media recently.  He said that it was unfortunate that the case was being hushed up by the  BJP-PDP Coalition during the period when the whole nation was undergoing demonetization drive to check the corruption and end the regime of black money.
The NPP leader while taking a dig at the BJP, also referred to the another report leveling serious allegations of corruption in a deal worth several crores of rupees involving a BJP minister and a MLC of the party in an attempt to safeguard the latter’s real estate business. He exhorted the State Government to immediately disclose the names of these tainted ministers and demanded sacking of the guilty incumbents.
Former MLA cautioned the State Government to take the necessary action against the culprits otherwise, NPP shall launch a full throttle agitation against the BJP to expose its wrongdoings.
