REASI, Nov 15: Deputy Commissioner, Ravinder Kumar today held a detailed review meeting of Revenue Department, here.
Various agenda points were discussed threadbare in the meeting like removal of encroachment on State, kah-charai and common lands, attestation of mutations, writing of jamabandis and Girdawari registers, preparation of revenue papers for construction of various PMGSY roads under 10th Phase filling of Annual Property Returns by all officers and officials and pendency of vigilance enquiry cases.
During the review it was revealed that in compliance to the standing directions by Deputy Commissioner, 3500 kanals of land was retrieved in the district in past two months (2848 kanals and 05 marlas of State land, 56 kanals of kah-charai land and 40 kanals of common land).
Ravinder Kumar has categorically directed all Revenue officers and officials to act tough against the illegal encroachers and put their best efforts to retrieve encroached land from the illegal possession of encroachers.
So far, more than 11,000 kanals of State land, kah-charai and common land has been retrieved from the illegal possession of encroachers.
Tehsildar Thakrakote, Rajesh Kumar has retrieved 8737 kanals land, Tehsildar Pouni, Munshi Ram has retrieved 1605 kanals land, Tehsildar Arnas, Rattan Singh has retrieved 306 kanals land, Tehsildar Bhomag, Sudesh Kumar has retrieved 310 kanals land and Tehsildar Reasi, Rajesh Kumar has retrieved 50 kanals land from the illegal encroachers.
Deputy Commissioner directed all SDMs, Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars to attest all pending mutation within one month and complete the target of writing jamabandis and Girdawari registers due for writing for the year 2015-16 and 2016-17.
He also instructed all the officers to ensure strict implementation and disposal of services under PSGA, RTI Act and pending vigilance enquiries in a stipulated time frame. He directed all SDMs and Tehsildars to convene various public grievances redressal camps, awareness camps in respective jurisdiction and also conduct regular tour and field visits to mitigate the genuine grievances of a common man.
Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildar apprised the DC Reasi of various problems being faced by them like lack of vehicles and residential accommodation thereby creating trouble in delivering and timely disposal of various public issues.
DC patiently listened to the genuine demands of the officer and assured to take up the same with concerned higher authorities for redressal.
ADC, Shiv Kumar Gupta, ACR, Abdul Sattar, SDM, Katra Neelam Khajuria besides various Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars were present in the meeting.
