JAMMU, Oct 31: A delegation of PDP leaders led by senior leader of the Party, Ashok Sidha called on Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti here, today and apprised her of the problems being faced by the migrants. They turned her attention towards the grave and serious problem of the migrants who have been deprived of ration supply for last three months.
The Chief Minister assured the delegation that the problem will be sorted out within days as she was not aware about it. The delegation also apprised her that the issue was raised earlier also in front of Minister of Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Bhasharat Bukhari but till date ration was not released to migrants.
Mr Sidha said that Chief Minister issued immediate instructions to her PRO urging him to convey the concerned authorities that the issue be solved within days.
The delegation also demanded that the PM package employees whose interviews were conducted over four years back but the lists were not released demanded that their appointment orders be issued immediately.
The other members of the delegation were Sunil Bhat, S K Raina, R K Pardesi, Anu Koul from Jagti and P N Zuthsi.
