JAMMU, Oct 31: A meeting of All J&K Electric Department Linemen and Workers Union was held, here today under the chairmanship of Tara Chand Lakhotra, president of the Union.
During the meeting, Union appealed the Government to release the sanctioned amount in favour of legal heirs of the deceased employees, who are suffering badly due to financial constraints.
The meet drew attention towards the Government recently sanctioning payment of Rs 2.66 crores in favour of legal heirs of deceased Government employees in Jammu and Kashmir provinces thus fulfilling long pending demand of the union.
