JAMMU, Oct 7: Parade police arrested an absconder from Kali Jani area, who was evading his arrest for the past one year.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Parade police post conducted raid in Kali Jani area and arrested an absconder, who was at large for the one year.
The accused has been identified as Vinod Dogra, son of late Rattan Lal, a resident of Kali Jani.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 177/11 under Section 279, 337 and 338 RPC registered with police station Pacca Danga. Arrest warrant under Section 512 CrpC was also stands issued against the accused by Court.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by Incharge Parade police post SI Deepak Katoch made the arrest under supervision of SHO Pacca Danga Inspector Ajay Bhat, SDPO City Vivek Shekhar and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
