JAMMU, Sept 6: Contractual paramedical staff of Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu today appealed the Health Minister, Bali Bhagat to regularize their services failing which they will resort to take the path of strike.
As per a release issued by press secretary, paramedical staff, GMC Jammu, more than 250 paramedical staff of GMC Jammu has appealed Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti and Health Minister, Bali Bhagat, for early regularization of their services stating that most of them are going to be overage soon.
“They made many representations to concerned Minister but their demand for regularization was not fulfilled. However, while rendering their duties in different departments in GMC, they have suffered from many chronic diseases like Hepatitis B, which are directly attributable to their present assignments”, the release said.
According to the release, if their demand of regularization was not fulfilled, they will left with no option except to go on strike, for which only Government will be responsible.
