SAMBA, Sept 6: One motor cyclist died and a biker and a pillion rider was injured after the two bikes collided at Smailpur road near Amar Ujjala Office in Bari Brahmana tehsil of Samba district late last night.
According to police, two motor cycles bearing number DL 5SBT/2531 and JK 02AS/2273 collided on Smailpur road in Bari Brahmana area of Samba district late last night resulting in the death of the one biker who was identified as Gurmeet Singh, son of Roshan Singh of Jallandhar presently at Teli Basti Bari Brahmana. The another motorcyclist Nagar Mal, son of Puran Chand of Kotli Charkan Bishnah and a pillion rider Ajeet Sharma, son of Ram Pal of Haryana presently at Bari Brahmana were injured. The duo was admitted in GMC Jammu for treatment. The Bari Brahmana Police has registered a FIR under number 114/2016 under Section 279/337 RPC.
