JAMMU, Sept 4: Six persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in outskirts of this winter capital of the State.
According to a police spokesman, a Maruti 800 car bearing registration number JK02AE-5705 this morning rolled down the road at Ramnagar area of Nagrota, resulting into injuries to three occupants of the car. The injured have been identified as Thoru Ram (60) late Ayodhya Nath, resident of Kot Bhalwal, Mamta (40) wife of Bishan Dass, resident of Nagrota, at present living at Bhalwal and her son, Balram (19).
A pedestrian identified as Vijay Kumar (12) son of Mangat Ram, resident of Sujwal was hit and injured by a rashly driven bike at Pargwal area while at Garhi in city outskirts, one Chuni Lal (62), resident of Garhi Malhar, was injured in collision of two bikes.
Meanwhile, one Pawan Singh (38) son of Sukhdev Singh, resident of Gurjal (Jourian), sustained serious injuries when the bike which he was riding, got slipped at Jourian.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. In all cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance.
