UDHAMPUR, Apr 28: Deputations of Ward Number 11, under the leadership of Jameela Banu and of Ward Number 17, under the leadership of Amit Singh, met MLA Udhampur Pawan Gupta and highlighted their problems.
Jameela Banu said that a lane just near Happy Model Higher Secondary School was in worst condition and she demanded its construction besides covering central drain. Amit Singh of Dandyal of Ward Number 17 highlighted the issue of a lane which has no exit of waste water and rainy water resulting in inconvenience to people, especially during the rains. He demanded construction of this lane with proper drainage system.
MLA Pawan Gupta immediately issued instructions to the concerned authorities to include both the developmental work in the District Plan. While interacting with the deputations, he reiterated that his priority as MLA was to work for the public problems and overall development of Udhampur Assembly constituency for which they have voted him.
Preetam Singh, Hoshiar Singh, Virender Singh, Mushtaq, Gynsham, Pushpa Devi, Asha Devi, Vijay Kumari and Shashi Sharma were among others in the deputations.
