JAMMU, Apr 28: The players of various zones showed grit, composure, promise and displayed skill and talent during Inter-School Tournaments of various zones, today.
Department of youth services and sports Udhampur organized by two days Zonal Level Inter School tournament for girls under 14 and 17 years age group Kabaddi, Kho Kho and Volleyball tournament under the supervision of Zonal Physical Education Officer Udhampur, Santosh Kumari at Mini Stadium here this morning.
As many 166 girls drawn from 17 different educational institution of zone Udhampur are participated in the tournament being organized by the department of youth services and sports Udhampur.
The Zonal Level Inter-School Tournaments were held at RS Pura zone under the overall supervision of Zonal Physical Education Officer, Chander Kanta.Kabaddi, Kho-Kho and Volleyball events were held during the Tournament.
At Gandhi Nagar zone, the Inter-School Tournament was held under the supervision of ZPEO, Sher Singh, wherein hs Pull Tawi beat HS Deeli in U-17 Kho-Kho final and APS Sunjuwan beat MS Digiana in Under-14 Kho-Kho summit clash. Kabaddi Under-17 final was won by HS Pull Tawi, while Volleyball Under-17 final was bagged by HS Chowadi.
Inter-School Competitions of Miran Sahib zone in the disciplines of Kho-Kho, Volleyball and Kabaddi were held at J&K Police Public School Miran Sahib, under the supervision of ZPEO Poonam Kotwal.
The Inter-School Competitions of Bishnah zone were held at hss Bishnah, under the supervision of ZPEO Jeet Singh. The Tournament was inaugurated by Principal HSS Bishnah, HL Bhagat.
The Inter-School Tournament was in full swing at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Akhnoor under the overall supervision of Anju Gupta, ZPEO Akhnoor.
Under the supervision of ZPEO Marh, Jasbir Singh Bhau, the Inter-School Tournament was held GHSS Marh, while at GHSS Bhalwal the Inter-School Tournamnets are being held under the overall supervision of ZPEO Veena Tickoo.
The zonal Level Tournament commenced at Jourian zone under the supervision of ZPEO Bhim Singh in the disciplines of Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Volleyball and Wrestling.
Inter school Level tournament in the Sports Disciplines of volleyball, Kabaddi, Kho Kho and wrestling for Boys U/14 & U/17 years concluded here at Govt. Boys High School Jammu cantt.
The tournaments was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports as a annual calendar of sports activities for the years of 2016-17.
The tournament conducted under the chairmanship of Sukhdev Raj Sharma DYSSO Jammu and under the overall supervision of Kiran Jyoti ZPEO Satwari.
