JAMMU, Apr 23: Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha (DBPS) today organized a function to disburse financial aid to widows and handicapped females registered with the Sabha.
An amount of Rs 3500 per person was disbursed by the chief guest, Advocate Chander Mohan Sharma along with VP Sharma, president of the Sabha. Total amount of Rs 1,05,000 was disbursed among the widows and handicapped females.
While speaking on the occasion, Chander Mohan Sharma, stressed the beneficiaries to continue to be in touch with the Sabha so that their grievances may be mitigated. The programme was conducted by Satya Paul Sharma.
Among others present on this occasion included Verinder Mohan Magotra, Nanak Chand Sharma, ML Sharma, Jagan Nath Sharma, Shiv Ram Sharma, Mohan Lal Sharma, PC Sharma Advocate, Satya Nand Sharma, Subash Shastri, Surinder Sharma etc.
