KU students stage protest

Srinagar, Apr 11: Dozens of Kashmir University (KU) students today staged a massive protest inside varsity campus against attacks on their counterparts in various education institutes of country.
The students boycotted their classes and assembled on varsity campus today morning. The students including females started raised slogans against the attacks on Kashmiri students and also against right-wing outfits.
They later tried to take out a march outside KU campus but a police party and University proctor pacified who were present on varsity gate requested them to disperse off.
“After repeated requests by police and proctor, the varsity students agreed to end their protest. Later they dispersed off peacefully and the situation normalized,” the witnesses added.
