JAMMU, Sept 9: National Secular Forum (NSF) today held a day-long convention at RS Pura, in which students and youth of the area participated.
Ravi Choudhary, district president, apprised Dr Vikas Sharma, president of the forum, about the problems being faced by the students vis-à-vis present status of the Degree College, hospital and stadium.
While speaking, Dr Vikas Sharma, urged the Government to redress the problems of the students and the people of the area on priority basis and preference should be given to the youth in Government jobs and other services.
Surjit Choudhary, senior vice president, said that the Government conducts recruitment rally for border youth in Akhnoor and Nagrota areas, but has ignored the border villages in RS Pura.
