JAMMU, Feb 6: A labourer died this evening in Barnai area of city outskirts when a large number of gunny bags containing animal feed fell on him at an animal feed factory.
According to a police spokesperson, the man identified as Baldev Raj Sharma, a resident of Ramnagar (Udhampur) and presently living in American Feed Mill , Barnai, where he was working as a labourer, received serious injuries when while working a large number of gunny bags filled with animal feed fell on him.
He was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead.
The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for conducting post mortem tomorrow. A case in this connection has been registered at police station Domana and investigations started.
