The deputation,  comprising of  M S Katoch, Kuldip Wahi and Parneesh Mahajan,  presented a  memorandum  to the  Minister and said that due to change in curriculum,  most of the colleges were  finding it difficult to manage the colleges of Education. Due to the change in scheme,  some of the colleges are  not able to fetch minimum numbers of the students fixed by the University of Jammu,   which adversely affected the economy of the colleges and also forced institutions to retrenchment which ultimately left many people involved in these institutions unemployed, they explained and added  that decline in admissions not only affected the colleges in the State of J&K but in other States also where the colleges are badly affected.
Further, the FORCE members also demanded that the J&K State colleges should be included in the list of PMSSS (Pradhan Mantri Special Scholarship Scheme) and be allowed to take admission under the said scheme.
The  Minister gave a patient hearing to the FORCE members and assured to do the needful.
