NEW DELHI: Logjam between the government and the Congress continued in the Lok Sabha for the fourth consecutive day today with the Opposition Members trooping into the Well and shouting slogans. Immediately after the House paid tributes to the martyrs who lost their lives fighting out terrorists in the Parliament complex on December 13, 2001 and Speaker Sumitra Mahahan delivered her ruling on the notices of Adjournment Motion, Congress Leader M Mallikarjun Kharge rose to make his submission. However, the Speaker did not allow him, saying “Everyday the same issue is being repeated by you”. Mr Kharge insisted, saying something again was published in newspapers today but the Chair disallowed him and called for to the Question Hour business.
This provoked the Opposition Members to move into the Well and resort to slogan shouting, forcing the Speaker to continue with the Question Hour amid slogans against the government. (UNI)
