JAMMU, Dec 7: Hindu Welfare Baradri of Vessu Anantnag Kashmir organized the annual Maha Yagya at Mata Roop Bhawani Ashram Tirath Nagar , Talab Tillo near here for peace, prosperity and welfare of entire mankind.
A large number of devotees’ attended the Yagya and paid obeisance to Mata Roop Bhawani. Many dignitaries and heads of various social and religious organizations attended the function, Swami Kumar Ji of Geeta Satsang Ashram Muthi delivered religious discourses. The Bhajan Kirtan was held in the Ashram for entire day.
The Baradri members made an appeal to the community people and also took a pledge to solemnize marriages and perform Yagnopavits of their children in a very simple way. Besides, the members assured full support to PNBMT in its ongoing struggle for passage of Shrines and Temples Bill and work for protection of Shiv Temple at Vessu. Bansi Lal Kaul president of the Baradri threw light on the ancient temple of Vessu.
