KATHUA, Nov 28: One person was killed and another was seriously injured after the motorcycles they were driving collided head on at Kali Bari Highway.
According to police the two youth who were in high speed on their motor cycles coming from opposite directions collided head on at Kalibari resulting into on spot death of one youth while another received grievous injuries.
The deceased was identified as Tarun, 22, son of Dev Raj of Ward 15 Kathua while the injured was identified as Hitish, 30, son of Gurdas Mal of Ward 4 Kathua.
The injured was first shifted by police to District Hospital Kathua where from doctors referred him to GMC Jammu in a serious condition.
The dead body will be handed over to family after postmortem tomorrow. The Kathua police has registered a case under relevant Sections of the law.
