Change in school timing demanded

JAMMU, Nov 23: J&K Teachers Welfare Association has demanded that school timings in the rural and far-flung areas should also be observed from 9 a.m to 3 p.m.
In a statement, president of the Association, Jasmeet Singh explained that the teachers serving in the rural and far -flung areas face a lot of problems in the evening as they find a little or no time for their family and daily routine works while they come back from schools late in the evening.
“Teachers/ Masters/ Lecturers serving in Chowki Choura, Khour, Pallanwalla and in other far-flung areas  reach home in the late evening and find nearly no-time for their family,” he said  and appealed the Education Minister to consider this demand of change in  timings for the rural area schools.
