NOWSHERA, Nov 12: Mystery shrouds the death of a youth whose body was recovered in Dharmsal area early today.
The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Hardesh Kumar, son of Baldev Raj, resident of village Katora in Kalakote, under Dharamsal police jurisdiction. Some villagers noticed the body lying on the way and they informed police. Several villagers gathered there.
Police party from Dharamsal reached the spot and family members also arrived there after coming to know about the matter. The police examined the spot and then shifted he body to Kalakote hospital where medical board conducted postmortem. The police said that death was still a mystery and things would be clear after postmortem report is received.
The parents of the deceased told police that Hardev left for the house of his in-laws at nearby village last evening. His wife was already there. Thereafter what happened to him they did not know. They alleged some foul play. The police has started investigation under 174 CrPC.
