PATNA: The Grand Secular Alliance in Bihar continued to surge ahead bagging 93 of the 122 seats declared so far leaving behind NDA with just 26.
Grand Alliance partner RJD won the maximum 40 seats, followed close behind by JD(U) with 38 and Congress 15.
The NDA bagged only 26 with BJP securing 22, RLSP of Union minister Upendra Kushwaha two, LJP one and HAM(S) of Jitan Ram Manjhi one.
Two seats have been won by Independents and one by CPI-ML(L).
The trends after several rounds of counting showed Lalu Prasad’s two sons Tej Pratap Yadav and Tejaswi Yadav ahead of their rivals in Mahua and Raghopur in Vaishali district respectively.
RJD leader Abdul Bari Siddiqui is ahead in Alinagar in Darbhanga.

Congress stalwart Sadanand Singh has won Kahalgaon seat.
BJP stalwart Satyadeo Narayan Arya who has won Rajgir (reserved seat) for 8 times in the past, is trailing to newcomer JD(U) candidate Ravi Jyoti Kumar by 3972 votes.
LJP chief Ramvilas Paswan’s brother and party state president Pashupati Paras is behind his RJD rival Chandan Kumar at Alauli (reserved SC seat) in Samastipur. (AGENCIES)
