Kailash Verma accuses BJP MLA of threatening her

JAMMU, Nov 4: Kailash Verma, chairperson, J&K Women Credit Cooperation Ltd, today alleged that MLA R S Pura was threatening to implicate her in false cases following her revelation of fake BAMS degree, being possessed by the MLA’s doctor wife.
Verma also appealed to BJP high command, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh and BJP State leadership to take cognizance into the matter and do justice.
Talking to media persons, here today, Kailash Verma said that despite court direction to the Crime Branch, no action has been initiated to investigate the fake degree case because of influence of the MLA, who was now threatening her of implicating in a false case.
She informed that members of the Board of Directors in the J&K Women Credit Cooperative Ltd, had earlier highlighted the case of said BJP legislator’s wife having fake BAMS degree, claimed to be issued by Baba Sahib Bhim Rao Ambedkar Bihar University.  “Even as Controller Examination of this University has verified that the degree of this MLA’s wife is fake, the Crime Branch did not register a case in this connection and also not initiated an investigation,” she added.
Kailash Verma alleged that infuriated over the expose, MLA R S Pura was now trying to harass her mentally and was also issuing serious threats.
Urging the BJP leadership to take action in this regard, Verma said that she would approach even New Delhi for seeking justice in this regard.
