RAJOURI, Oct 28: Himalayan Degree College Rajouri excelled in Inter-College Physics Conference organized by Department of Physics.
Government Post Graduate College Rajouri and bagged 1st, 3rd and one consolation prize. It was a mega event in which 22 candidates from five Colleges of the Jammu province including MIET Jammu, Government P G College Rajouri, GDC Thannamandi, GDC Poonch, Himalayan Degree College Rajouri gave their presentations.
Purva Bhasin and Alia Iqbal of Himalayan Degree College Rajouri got 1st and 3rd prizes respectively, whereas Government P G College Rajouri and Government Degree College Poonch got 2nd prize and MIET Jammu, GDC Thannamandi and Himalayan Degree College Rajouri shared 3rd prize. Sahil Sharma of HDC Rajouri also got a consolation prize.
The event was chaired by Principal Government Degree College Rajouri, whereas teaching faculty from various Colleges of the province, students and member of the avail society witnessed the programe.
The winning students were presented mementoes and certificates. The jubilant students of the College expressed their gratitude to the learned and dedicated teachers of Himalayan Degree College Rajouri for shaping their career in a brilliant fashion.
This is worthwhile to mention here that the said College has excelled in many State and national level events in the recent past.
