Srinagar, Oct 18: Islamic University of Science and Technology has postponed its scheduled convocation for tomorrow following the death of truck conductor, Zahid Rasool Bhat, who succumbed to his burn injuries today.
A Government spokesman said that Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, who is also the Chancellor of the Islamic University of Science and Technology, Awantipora, has ordered postponement of the first ever Convocation of the varsity after the tragic death of Zahid Rasool Bhat.
