Ration dealers without carriage, charges commission

RAMNAGAR,  Oct 14: The ration dealers from Udhampur, Basantgarh and Majalta area of district Udhampur have not been paid their carriage charges for ration and commission by the CAPD department for the last 10 months.
In a meeting of  nearly 45 private ration dealers of  this area held at Ramnagar town today, the dealers expressed serious concern over the issue and later forwarded a representation to the TSO Ramnagar for the Assistant Director CAPD Udhampur and the Director at Jammu. The aggrieved dealers alleged that they have not been paid their carriage charges and commission by the concerned CAPD officials for the last over 10 months and they were facing hardships.
They demanded inquiry into the matter and also warned to lift ration for the public from next month if their pending amount is not cleared by the department by the end of this month.
