JAMMU, Sept 21: A meeting of All Kashmiri Visthapith Forum (AKVF) was held under the chairmanship of A K Raina its president in which long pending issues of displaced Pandits were discussed.
The issues discussed included rehabilitation of displaced Pandits from Valley, grant of minority status to KPs, implementation of PM package etc.
The meeting urged the Central and State Governments to give up the callous attitude towards these problems and address them as early as possible keeping in view the pain and sufferings of the displaced people.
The meeting also urged the community to come under one roof and fight for the demands unitedly.
S L Bhan vice chairman, C L Raina vice president, M L Bhan organizer , K L Koul, general secretary, AK Koul and P L Pandit addressed the meeting.
