JAMMU, Aug 30: Kavinder Gupta Speaker State Assembly and MLA Gandhi Nagar Constituency along with Aseem Gupta State secretary BJP and Kulbhushan Mohtra today visited Ward No-52 and Ward No -44 of Gandhi Nagar Constituency.
During the interaction with people he said there are many problems and they will be solved for the total development of the Constituency. Water scarcity is one of the main problems, he added.
Kavinder Gupta said “we have been chosen for welfare of the people’’. He said six new Tubewells are coming up and a big water plant of Rs 87 crores is coming up which will totally finish the water problems of Gandhi Nagar Constituency.
Regarding the probelmsw being crated by nallahs in the area the Speaker said all the Nallahs will be given the treatment and ADB funding is being released to ERA and the Nallah will be properly made as per engineering standard and they will also be properly desilted.
Kavinder Gupta appealed the people not to encroach the Nallahs as it will in turn add to their problem and also ecology. He said all the encroachments over the nallahs will be removed.
Over the power problem he said it will be properly sorted out with the help of IRCON and Rs 700 crore have been sanctioned for upgradation of Infrastructure of electricity in Jammu. He said under the scheme every four to five houses will be given one transformer and fluctuation and curtailment will be totally finished. It will also help in stopping leakage of electricity.
He said black topping of all the roads in Gandhi Nagar Constituency will be finished in one year.
Aseem Gupta said that these works as announced by Kavinder Gupta will be completed in the shortest time period and there will be no compromise on the standard of the work.
