SRINAGAR, July 23: The 14th annual meeting of Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI – JK Chapter) today re-elected Shameem Ahmad Shah as its chairman for two years.
Zahoor Qari and Shiekh Abdul Ahad were also elected as secretary and treasurer respectively. This is for the third time that these persons were re-elected and their term is for two years.
Shamim Shah said that he is hopeful Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, Commissioner and Secretary Tourism, Shailendra Kumar, MD, JKTDC and Director Tourism, Farooq will support the TAAI for promotion of tourism by conducting road shows across India and South East Asia.
