BJP Mahila Morcha holds series of meetings

JAMMU, July 19: Led by State President Purnima Sharma, the office bearers and prominent activists of BJP Mahila Morcha held a series of meetings in some Wards of Jammu East Constituency and Gandhi Nagar Assembly constituency under Party’s ‘Mahasampark Abhiyaan’ during the last three days.
Speaking on the occasion, she said that after the successful conduct of the membership drive across the country, the BJP has now become the largest political party in the world with 11 crore members.
“It is indeed a great achievement as we have left behind Communist party of China”, she said and added that the party expresses its gratitude to the people who got themselves registered as its members.
Purnima said that like other States, we have launched Mass Contact campaign in Jammu and Kashmir also, under ‘Mahasampark Abhiyaan’ with a motive of reaching every new member for physical verification.
She said that the number of female members is almost equal to male members and BJP Mahila Morcha activists are visiting female members in particular with the principles and programmes of the party. She said that the people have realized it is only BJP which can lead the nation to new heights of development, progress and prosperity.
Purnima Sharma also nominated Neelam Rathore as Ward president for Ward Number 53.
She was accompanied by Mahila Morcha leaders namely Anuradha Charak, Anju Dogra, Sangita Anand, Anu Gupta, Parveen Arora, Sushma Gupta, Rekha Mahajan and Monika Khosla.
