JAMMU, June 24: Mandeep Kumar Bhandari, Secretary Health and Medical Education, has been given the additional charge of Commissioner Food Safety.
The appointment of Mr Bhandari as Commissioner of Food Safety, in addition to his own duties, has been made by the Government in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 30 of the Food Safety and Standards Act 2006 (34 of 2006) and in suppression of notification SRO-146, dated May 15, 2015.
