JAMMU, June 24: A meeting of College Teachers Association (CTA) was held under the chairmanship of its president Jammu Wing Dr Sanjay Verma here today.
In the meeting, Association members raised demands such as enhancement of age of superannuation; removal of anomalies in SRO-124, release of additional increments on placement to higher grade, transfer of teachers, who have completed their tenure outside, post of Professor in the colleges, filling of posts of Principals on permanent basis.
Other present in the meeting were Prof M S Saini, Prof Satinder Kour, Prof D S Manhas, Prof Sunil Gupta, Prof Anil Ganjoo, Prof Narayan Dutt, Prof Rajesh Gupta, Prof Surinder Sharma, Prof Hans Raj, Prof Vishal Sharma and Prof Ranjodh Singh.
