JAMMU, May 31: Bhagat Biradri would celebrate 617 Parkash Utsav of Sadguru Kabir Ji Maharaj on June 2.
Elaborating the programmes organized in this concern during a press conference, a Joint Celebration Committee of All J&K Bhagat (Megh) Biradri comprising FC Bhagat, president All J&K Kabir Sabha, Mohinder Lal, president, Bhagat Mahasabha, BL Bhagat, president, Megh Sudhar Sabha, said that on June 2nd at sharp 10 AM garlands of flowers will be offered to the statue of Sant Kabir Ji at Kabir Rotary near Bus Stand and thereafter a procession followed by Jhankies will be started from MA Stadium. After passing through Vikram Chowk, Asia, Gandhi Nagar and Nai Basti, the procession will culminate at Government School, Satwari.
Besides other programmes, a Satsang will be organized wherein Baba Bhagwan Dass Ji, Udhas Marg RS Pura, Baba Dina Nath Ji (Punjabwale), Baba Milkhi Ram (Gordawale) and Mahant Ajay Dass Ji will throw light on the life and philosophy of Sant Kabir Mahraj Ji.
The Committee requested the Municipal Commissioner, JMC, Chief Engineer PHE and Chief Engineer PDD to provide the sanitation, drinking water facilities and uninterrupted power supply at MA Stadium and Satwari Chowk where the main function will be held.
