JAMMU, Apr 20: Under CSR initiative, Coromandel International Limited Bari Brahmana, part of Murugappa Group, has taken up renovation of Government Primary School Kargal, Government Primary School Kartholi and Government Girls Middle School Bari Brahmana.
Under the initiative, 72 desks, water coolers with water purifier are being donated besides renovation of wash rooms at Government Girls Middle School, Bari Brahmana.
In this connection, a meeting was organized today at Kargal Government Primary School and Government Girls Middle School at Bari Brahmana. The meeting was presided over by Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Prakash Ganga, who appreciated the efforts of the Coromandel International Limited for adopting the schools under CSR activities and taking inspiration from Prime Minister’s Swacch Bharath Abhiyan.
The meeting was attended by senior citizens of Kargal, Bari Brahmana and BBIA president Anil Suri.
Coromandel International Limited Associate vice president, Hari Shankar briefed the gathering about Murugappa Group initiatives across the country and CSR policy of Coromandel International Limited.
