NMC delegation to meet PM

JAMMU, Apr 5: A 20-member delegation of National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) is leaving for New Delhi in first week of May to meet the Prime Minister, Union Finance Minister and Minister of State in the PMO, to urged them for providing a special financial package of Rs 2000 crore to J&K Government to meet expenditure on account of regularization of 61000 daily rated workers in the State.
Talking to media persons here today, NMC president Subhash Shastri disclosed that during the meeting with Narendra Modi, Arun Jaitley and Dr Jatinder Singh, the NMC delegation will urged for providing such a package so that in one go all the 61000 daily rated workers are regularized and the financial extended benefit to them without any delay.
He hoped that keeping in view the laudable work being done both by Central and the J&K Government, the long pending demand of the daily wagers would be solved once for all.
