USTA apprises Director School Education of teachers’ demands

JAMMU, Mar 31: A deputation of J&K United School Teachers Association (USTA) called on Director School Education Simrandeep Singh and apprised him of various issues and demands of the teachers.
The deputation,  led by its president Hari Singh, demanded early release of  long pending salary of teachers under various schemes, early transfer of those who have completed their tenure in far flung areas, senior teacher grade in favour of Under Graduate teachers, adjustment of promoted Masters, early clearance of ReT regularization file, DPC for Class IV cadre, filling vacant posts in schools, clearance of pendency under mid-day meal,  enhancement in honorarium of  ReTs, etc.
The Director gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured early action. He also passed on directions for issuance of GP Fund statements, mid-day meal  pendency etc.
The deputation comprised of Rajeev Kumar, Kishori Lal, Raj Kumar, Shanti Saroop, Prem Bhagat, Madan Singh, Roop Lal, Kewal Singh, Ganesh Dutt, Nater Chand and Surinder Singh.
